BRAIN: Tonight, Pinky, I have composed an extra-ordinary plan for Global Domination! Tonight, my friend, we will start an Internet chainlink story on the WBC chainlink bulletin board! In past stories posted to the WBC, there have been certain bits repeated endlessly, ad infinitum...running gags, if you will...
PINKY: Like that "two places at once" bit! Ha-ha-ha! *NARF!
BRAIN: Yes...or the equally insipid variable, "right behind 'im". [Shudders.] But in our story, Pinky, there will be a *NEW* running gag...in *OUR* story, the characters will constantly repeat this line: "Obey the Brain!" The mindless readers of said board will repeatedly say this sentence to themselves, because they will actually think it's...funny. As they repeat the line aloud, it will be embedded subconsciously in their minds, rendering them my slaves!
PINKY: Egad, Brain, brilliant!
BRAIN: YES! The only problem is...
