: YAKKO: Aaaaah, I think we'd better am-scray before we run into our future selves...I'd hate for the universe as we know it to have a nervous breakdown or somethin-- : [suddenly, three figures pop up out of a phone on Minerva's desk, who shout "HELLOOOO, PAST SELVES!" The figures are the 2015 version of the Warners, natch. Minerva, startled by this, screams and passes out.] : 2015 YAKKO: Greetings, past selves! : YAKKO: Aaaaaah, I thought the universe would implode or something if we were to meet versions of ourselves from the past or future...remember "Back to the Future 2"? : DOT: Or that Marvin the Martian-meets-Taz episode of "Taz-Mania"? : 2015 YAKKO: Naaaah, that was all pure Hollywood. : 2015 DOT: Oh, and *this* isn't? : DOT: Are we going to go through that "Bill and Ted guess-what-I'm-number/thing-I'm-thinking-of" routine? : 2015 YAKKO: Naaah, I think "Brain of the Future" did that one already... : DOT: Oh, yeah... : [both Wakkos whipser to each other; then:] : WAKKO: Uhhhh....I know! Can we do some kind of "four places at once" thing on someon-- : BOTH DOTS: *NO*! : YAKKO: Didn't Slappy ever get around to teaching you--er, us---er, whatever, some new gags? : 2015 YAKKO: Aaaaactually, she never did; she's apparently been rather "busy" of late. : YAKKO: Procrastination strikes again... : WAKKO: So, uhhhh....can we look around some more? I wanna know if they have one of those neat-o flying cars! : DOT: And see if Mel Gibson still looks *dreamy*! : YAKKO: And we still have to sit down and watch Kids WB's fall lineup here! : 2015 DOT: Uh, sure! I can give you the address of a hoverconversion place...here! [she hands "our" Yakko a paper reading "Yosemite Sam's Hovercar conversion facility, "Honest" Yosemite Sam, proprietor"] : YAKKO: Gee, thanks! C'mon, guys, let's go! [turning to "future" sibs] Aaaah, you guys wanna come? : 2015 YAKKO: Nah, we have to go do a quick cameo on the "Pinky and the Brain: the Series 20th anniversary Special"...you wouldn't believe how stunningly well the mice have aged, by the way! But you guys can look around if you want! : WAKKO: Faboo! C'mon, let's go get a flying car, guys! : YAKKO: All right! So long, future selves! : ["our" Warners leave the WB office and head to their car, to drive off to the hoverconversion facility, leaving their future selves and the still-fainted Minerva alone...] : 2015 WAKKO: Uh, guys, d'ya think we should've told them about--- : 2015 YAKKO: Naaaah, they'll be fine! Remember, *we're* some of the best this studio's ever turned out! Besides, we haven't done that "withhold vital information on a potentially life-threatening future danger from our past selves" bit yet! : 2015 WAKKO: Oh, yeah...so, who's up for some McBurger Taco King? : 2015 DOT: I *knew* all those mergers back in the 90's would lead to trouble... : 2015 YAKKO: Hey, at least we've come through fairly unscathed...besides that merger with UPN, that is... : [all shudder] : [cut back to "our" Warners, who're pulling away from the hoverconversion facility with their newly converted car...] : YAKKO: So, where to now? : WAKKO: I know! Let's go see what's happened to our other cast members here! : DOT: Why? : YAKKO: Because the writer of this section's pretty much used up all the other time-travel cliches by now... : [cut to BRAINATRA at his computer] : BRAINATRA: [sighs] True...[then shrugs] oh, well...[starts typing again, quickly] : WAKKO: I know!
